Refund Policies
Refund policies for each program are listed below. If you have any questions about these policies please contact the club treasurer.
Full Day Academy
1. Registration Fees Non-Refundable Deposit: A deposit (if applicable) is required to secure a spot in any program, clinic, or camp. This deposit is non-refundable except in the event that the academy cancels the program. Full Program Fee: The balance of the program fee is due by the stated payment deadline. 2. Refund Eligibility Refunds will only be granted under the following conditions: Program Cancellation by Academy: If the academy cancels a program for any reason, participants will receive a full refund (including deposits). Medical Withdrawal: A prorated refund may be issued if a player is unable to continue due to injury or illness, provided a doctor’s note is submitted within 7 days of withdrawal. Early Withdrawal Notice: If written notice is received 14 or more days before the program start date, participants will receive a refund minus the non-refundable deposit. If notice is received less than 14 days before the program start date, no refund will be issued unless it qualifies under the medical withdrawal provision. 3. No Refund Situations Missed sessions, late arrivals, or early departures will not be credited or refunded. No refunds will be issued once a program has started, except in approved medical withdrawal cases. Dismissal due to disciplinary action or breach of the academy’s code of conduct will not qualify for a refund. 4. Transfer & Credit Options In some cases, the academy may allow program fees to be transferred to a future program or applied as a credit toward another academy offering. These situations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. 5. How to Request a Refund All refund requests must be submitted in writing to: ak@optimumhockeyacademy.org Please include the participant’s name, program name, dates, reason for request, and any required documentation (e.g., medical note). 6.
