Facilities
Optimum is based at Great Park Ice and Five Point Arena in Irvine — a 2,500-seat, four-rink facility that serves as the practice home of the Anaheim Ducks. Three NHL-sized rinks and one Olympic sheet give us flexibility most academies can only dream of. Our players train where pros train, in a facility built for elite hockey.
Our coaching staff includes former NHL players, NCAA All-Americans, and pro alumni from the AHL, ECHL, KHL, and European leagues. Every coach in our program has competed at — or developed players for — the level our students are aiming at.
